Airtech Pocket Filter Grade
F9 — Final filtration for pharmaceutical production areas, hospital theatres and antechambers, ISO 8 cleanroom supply air, and high-specification commercial buildings requiring low particulate counts. EN779 F9 ≥95% average efficiency at 0.4µm.

Applications
F9 pocket filters are the secondary filtration stage in commercial HVAC systems — the filter that determines indoor air quality. At ≥95% average efficiency at 0.4µm, F9 captures PM2.5 fine particulate, diesel combustion aerosols, and the fine dust that G4 pre-filters let through. Specified wherever occupant health, regulatory compliance, or equipment protection demands more than coarse filtration alone.
- Commercial offices and retail — IAQ compliance and occupant comfort in high-occupancy buildings. F9 is the secondary filter standard for most commercial HVAC specifications in South Africa.
- Hospitals and healthcare facilities — Secondary filtration upstream of H14 HEPA terminal filters in operating theatre and critical care AHU systems.
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing — Pre-HEPA filtration in GMP Grade B and C cleanroom air handling systems to extend HEPA service life.
